 Individual Grants Program, LGBTQ Impact, Inc.

Supporting the LGBTQ+ community is at the heart of everything we do at LGBTQ+ Impact. One of the most meaningful ways we live out our mission is by offering direct grants to individuals, nonprofit organizations, and grassroots community groups working to uplift LGBTQ+ lives.

We’re continually inspired by the strength, resilience, and creativity of those we support. Whatever the reason, this grant program is here to meet you where you are. We believe in showing up for people and organizations at critical moments—and ensuring no one feels like they’re facing life’s hurdles alone.

When you apply for this grant, know that you’re not just requesting support—you’re being embraced by a broader community that believes in you and wants to see you thrive.

Eligibility

The Individual Grants Program is designed to support individuals and organizations making a meaningful, positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community. This program is not based on financial need—there is no requirement to demonstrate hardship or submit financial documentation.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.

  • Clearly describe how they intend to use the grant funds.

  • Demonstrate that they have made, or plan to make, a positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community.

  • Not be a board member, employee, or family member of anyone affiliated with LGBTQ+ Impact, Inc

  • Currently reside in the United States (citizenship not required)


While not required, applicants are welcome to include any personal context, hardships, or unique circumstances that may help the review committee better understand their story.

Applications are reviewed by a member(s) of the Board of Directors based on:

  • The thoughtfulness and clarity of the proposal.

  • The potential positive impact of the grant on the applicant’s life or community.

  • The alignment of the request with the values and mission of LGBTQ+ Impact.

Each application is viewed as an opportunity to uplift people who are committed to positive change—and we are honored to support you in continuing that work.

LGBTQ Impact, Inc may choose to modify the amount of the grant awarded to any amount deemed appropriate based on the total need outlined by the applicant in the application. 

The act of applying does not guarantee any award of funds.  Funds are only awarded at the sole discretion of the board member(s) reviewing the application.

Each individual or organization may only receive one grant per calendar year.

Application and Review Process

  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

  • Applicants must complete the official application form and submit supporting documentation.

  • All applications will be reviewed by member(s) of the Board of Directors of LGBTQ Impact, Inc.

  • Applicants will be notified of the decision via email.

Disbursement of Funds

If approved, funds will be disbursed by check or bank transfer. Applicants are responsible for any taxes owed on the grant received.

Confidentiality and Data Use

All application information will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Information may be anonymized and used for internal reporting and compliance purposes.

Amendments

LGBTQ+ Impact, Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on the organization’s website.

Acknowledgment

By submitting an application, you acknowledge that:

  • You meet the eligibility criteria.

  • You agree to the terms set forth herein.

  • You understand that false information may result in grant denial or a requirement to return awarded funds.

  • You accept responsibility for any tax obligations incurred as a result of receiving a grant.
